East Java Food Prices Saturday (27/7): Beef and Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (27/7/2024) at 15.11 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, mackerel, skipjack tuna, fine iodized salt, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by IDR 790 (1.18%) to IDR 67,820 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most sharply by IDR 510 (1.4%) to IDR 35,870 per kg.
