Aceh's Current Food Prices: Egg Prices Rise, Oil Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (23/6/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 17 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (loose), packaged wheat flour (non-loose), SPHP rice, milkfish, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as loose cooking oil, garlic bulbs, premium rice, shallots, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most, by Rp8,440 (31.78%) to Rp35,000 per kg. The price of loose cooking oil decreased the most, by Rp1,630 (10.7%) to Rp13,600 per liter.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 17 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas on June 23, 2024, at 08.01 WIB.

1. Pure Beef: Rp150,000 per kg (down 2.7%)
2. Red Chilies: Rp55,000 per kg (down 7.78%)
3. Shallots: Rp45,000 per kg (down 4.66%)
4. Garlic Bulbs: Rp40,000 per kg (down 1.94%)
5. Milkfish: Rp40,000 per kg (up 15.54%)
6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,000 per kg (up 31.78%)
7. Broiler Chicken: Rp32,500 per kg (up 3.08%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp32,500 per kg (up 20.55%)
9. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp20,000 per liter (up 8.64%)
10. Consumption Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (down 2.23%)
11. Fine Iodized Salt: Rp15,000 per kg (up 2.53%)
12. Packaged Wheat Flour (non-loose): Rp15,000 per kg (up 1.49%)
13. Premium Rice: Rp14,000 per kg (down 3.58%)
14. Loose Cooking Oil: Rp13,600 per liter (down 10.7%)
15. SPHP Rice: Rp13,100 per kg (up 2.1%)
16. Dry Soybean Seeds (Import): Rp13,000 per kg (up 6.3%)
