Jakarta, DKI Region Food Prices Wednesday (October 30th): Onions Up, Chilies Down

Food prices in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (30/10/2024) at 09.15 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, garlic bulbs, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp2,810 (8.12%) to Rp37,420 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp6,000 (17.97%) to Rp27,390 per kg.
