Bali Region Food Prices Thursday (22/8): Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (22/8/2024) at 12.14 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, broiler chicken, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, fine iodized salt, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp1,710 (4.76%) to Rp37,640 per kg. The price of fine iodized salt decreased the most sharply, by Rp2,820 (23.7%) to Rp9,080 per kg.
