Today's Food Prices in West Java: Cooking Oil Up, Shallots Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (20/7/2024) at 08.37 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dried soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, garlic bulbs, SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Simple packaged cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp570 (3.29%) to Rp17,890 per liter. Red onion prices, on the other hand, experienced the largest decrease of Rp4,230 (14.61%) to Rp24,730 per kg.

7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,280 per kg (down 5.2%)
8. Milkfish: Rp34,090 per kg (down 1.56%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,220 per kg (down 2.65%)
10. Red Onions: Rp24,730 per kg (down 14.61%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,890 per liter (up 3.29%)
