The average expenditure of residents in Sorong Regency for purchasing shrimp paste/petis in 2023 was Rp147.37 per capita per week. This figure increased compared to the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp104.81 per capita per week.

Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members for a month, whether from purchases, gifts, or self-production, divided by the number of household members. Household consumption is categorized into food and non-food consumption, regardless of the origin of the goods, and is limited to household needs only, excluding consumption/expenditure for business purposes or given to other parties.
