Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (27/12/2024) at 15.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, SPHP rice, red chilies, premium rice, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, farmer-level corn, broiler chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp4,620 (10.21%) to Rp49,880 per kg. Garlic bulbs saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp630 (1.6%) to Rp38,670 per kg.
