Jakarta DKI Region Food Prices Saturday (September 7th): Chili and Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (7/9/2024) at 10:57 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, iodized fine salt, premium rice, medium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as wheat flour (bulk), milkfish, granulated sugar, red chili peppers, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium rice prices surged the highest by Rp460 (3.32%) to Rp14,310 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of broiler chicken decreased the most by Rp3,570 (9.92%) to Rp32,410 per kg.
