Bali's Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (12/9/2024) at 12:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, milkfish, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, and red chilies have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest at Rp1,290 (4.16%) to Rp32,300 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) fell the most sharply by Rp850 (7.71%) to Rp10,170 per kg.
