Banten Food Prices Thursday (25/7): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (25/7/2024) at 10:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), iodized fine salt, SPHP rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, tongkol fish, shallots, dry soybean seeds (import), and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp7,510 (10.41%) to Rp79,640 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices fell the most sharply by Rp2,050 (6.35%) to Rp30,250 per kg.
