Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chili and Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (3/7/2024) at 11:43 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, kembung fish, bulk cooking oil, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, tongkol fish, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp3,430 (7.86%) to Rp47,070 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price drop, falling Rp1,110 (9.54%) to Rp10,530 per kg.

9. Tongkol Fish: Rp34,060 per kg (down 3.02%)
