Latest Food Prices in East Java: Prices of Salt, Chilies, and Beef Rise

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (15/9/2024) at 09.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, granulated sugar, farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, shallots, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp600 (6.56%) to Rp9,740 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel saw the sharpest decrease, down Rp4,240 (12.7%) to Rp29,140 per kg.

9. Curly Red Chili: Rp23,370 per kg (up 4.85%)
