Garlic Prices at Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in Bengkulu Province is recorded at Rp46,900. This price is up Rp1,150 compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the daily price of garlic in traditional markets has increased from Rp43,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in Bengkulu over the past three months has increased by 8.44% from the previous price of Rp43,250.

The record high for the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2019 with an increase of 123.12%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2017 with a decrease of -25.6%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Bengkulu show nine commodities decreased and 17 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Large Red Chili, Chili, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Red Chili, Cooking Oil, Green Chili, Curly Red Chili, and Premium Quality Sugar, all in traditional markets by province.
