West Java Food Prices on Monday (September 2nd): Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (September 2nd, 2024) at 3:38 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 2 commodities increased in price and 18 commodities decreased.

The commodities that increased in price are pure beef and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, red chilies, curly red chilies, mackerel, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef experienced the highest price increase of Rp310 (0.23%), reaching Rp133,380 per kg. Mackerel experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp3,870 (10.01%), reaching Rp34,790 per kg.
