Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Rice Up, Onions Down (Saturday, January 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (13/1/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, Indian mackerel, milkfish, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest by Rp1,560 (4.63%) to Rp35,280 per kg. Red onion prices decreased the most by Rp2,560 (7.74%) to Rp30,510 per kg.
