Jakarta, DKI Food Prices Today: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (6/11/2024) at 17:52 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, tongkol fish, bulk cooking oil, kembung fish, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, garlic bulbs, premium rice, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Kembung fish experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,600 (4.56%) to Rp36,700 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp3,640 (10.98%) to Rp29,520 per kg.
