Central Java Food Prices Friday (November 8th): Onion Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (8/11/2024) at 16:28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are farmer-level corn, shallot bulbs, red onions, simple packaged cooking oil, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp80 (1.59%), reaching Rp5,110 per kg. Broiler chicken experienced the largest price decrease of Rp790 (2.19%), reaching Rp35,250 per kg.
