Bojonegoro Regency/City, the Largest Recipient of Oil and Gas Revenue Sharing Funds in 2018

Bojonegoro is the Indonesian regency/city that received the largest share of natural resource (NR) revenue from oil in 2018. According to the Ministry of Finance data, the oil NR revenue flowing into this East Java regency reached Rp 2.27 trillion.

Bojonegoro's oil NR revenue was larger than that of Bengkalis Regency (Rp 803.64 billion) and Rokan Hilir Regency (Rp 490.9 billion), as shown in the graph. For information, Bojonegoro has the Banyu Urip oil field located in the Cepu Block working area, with oil reserves of 450 million barrels and a production capacity of up to 200,000 barrels of oil per day.

Bojonegoro's economy, measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at constant 2010 prices, grew by 4.41% to Rp 65.8 trillion. Meanwhile, when measured by GRDP at current prices, it reached Rp 73.88 trillion, contributing 3.32% to the East Java economy.
