Food Prices in Banten Today: Bird's Eye Chili Prices Up, Red Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (Nov 1, 2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were premium rice, skipjack tuna, medium rice, consumption sugar, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, broiler chicken meat, mackerel scad, packaged wheat flour, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,054 (2.79%) to Rp38,864 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices dropped the deepest by Rp777 (2.11%) to Rp36,109 per kg.
