Based on these findings, SOEs and other bodies were the most wasteful government institutions in the first half of this year, both in terms of the number of issues and the value of inefficiency.

In response to these problems, the BPK provided 26,171 recommendations. Some of these urged entity leaders to recover losses, collect revenue, deposit funds into state/regional/company coffers, and strive to prevent potential losses from becoming actual losses.

The BPK also hopes that these recommendations will help improve national financial governance and enhance the quality of public services.
