Daily Prices of Raw Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets of Lampung Province Have Decreased by 26.48% Over the Past Month

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in Lampung Province is recorded at Rp29,150. This price is down Rp1,250 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets has decreased from a previous record of Rp39,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in Lampung over the past three months has fallen by 21%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in Lampung Province was traded at Rp36,900.

The record high for the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2023 with an increase of 48.96%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2017 with a decrease of -26.84%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Lampung recorded five commodities decreasing and ten others increasing. Basic commodities with price decreases are Chili Peppers, Granulated Sugar, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Cooking Oil, and Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1.
