Latest Food Prices in Banten, What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (20/11/2024) at 12.06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, iodized fine salt, simple packaged cooking oil, kembung fish, and dry soybean seeds (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, pure beef, broiler chicken, farmer-level corn, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp900 (8.76%) to Rp11,170 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the steepest price drop, falling Rp3,920 (9.3%) to Rp38,230 per kg.
