Price of Red Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets for the Period March 2025-2026

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of red bird's eye chili in traditional markets of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province is recorded at Rp58,750. This price has remained unchanged compared to the previous day as well as in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily red bird's eye chili price in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp66,250.

Meanwhile, the daily red bird's eye chili price in traditional markets of Bangka Belitung Islands Province has dropped 2.08% in the last three months. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily red bird's eye chili price in traditional markets of the province was traded at Rp60,000.

The record increase in the daily red bird's eye chili price in traditional markets of this province was previously recorded in June 2021 with a 48.67% rise, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2021 with a -41.2% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in Bangka Belitung Islands Province shows that 13 commodities have decreased and six others have increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Beef, Chicken Meat, Grade 1 Beef, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Broiler Chicken Eggs, Shallots, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Cooking Oil, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Curly Red Chili, Red Chili, and Medium-sized Shallots.
