Food Prices Today (30/1) in Indonesia: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (30/1/2026) at 14:22 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 6 commodities decreased.

The only commodity whose price increased was red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, Minyakita cooking oil, red onion, broiler chicken eggs, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp400 (0.71%) to Rp57,100 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili dropped the most by Rp400 (0.96%) to Rp41,400 per kg.

7. Curly Red Chili: Rp37,600 per kg (down 0.53%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp32,700 per kg (down 0.3%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,300 per liter (stable)
