Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Beef and Sugar Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (29/7/2024) at 10:51 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are: SPHP rice, milkfish, Indian mackerel, farmer-level corn, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken meat, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp930 (20.35%) to Rp5,500 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most sharply, by Rp1,520 (4.63%) to Rp31,340 per kg.

7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,270 per kg (down 2.68%)
8. Red Chilies: Rp31,340 per kg (down 4.63%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,690 per kg (down 0.62%)
10. Red Onions: Rp20,260 per kg (down 1.41%)
