Latest Food Prices in West Java: Onion, Oil, and Sugar Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (25/3/2025) at 17.09 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, Indian mackerel, large red chilies, table salt, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, skipjack tuna, packaged cooking oil, SPHP rice, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,644 (3.03%), reaching Rp55,871 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,080 (1.09%), reaching Rp98,172 per kg.
