State Spending Realization Reaches Rp 945.7 Trillion by May 2021

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) recorded that the realization of state expenditure in the State Budget (APBN) reached Rp 945.7 trillion until May 2021. This figure grew by 12.1% compared to the same period last year, which was Rp 843.9 trillion. The realization of state expenditure also reached 34.4% of its target of Rp 2,750 trillion.

In detail, the realization of state expenditure by ministries/agencies reached Rp 359.8 trillion until May 2021. This amount increased by 33.07% compared to May 2020, which was Rp 270.4 trillion.

The realization of non-ministry/agency expenditure amounted to Rp 287.9 trillion until May 2021. This figure grew by 7.82% compared to the same period last year, which was Rp 267 trillion.

Meanwhile, the realization of transfers to regions until May 2021 decreased by 0.7% to Rp 275.7 trillion. Similarly, village fund disbursement decreased by 22.6% to Rp 22.3 trillion.

Furthermore, the realization of this expenditure was still higher than state revenue, which amounted to Rp 726.4 trillion. As a result, Indonesia still experienced a budget deficit of Rp 219.3 trillion until the fifth month of this year.
