Latest Food Prices in West Sumatra Region, What is the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (22/7/2024) at 14.37 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, red chilies, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, medium rice, farmer-level corn, bulk cooking oil, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper saw the highest price increase of Rp5,400 (10.78%) to Rp55,500 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of iodized fine salt decreased the most sharply by Rp630 (3.85%) to Rp15,720 per kg.
