Current Food Prices in Banten Region: Red Chili and Oil Prices Rise

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (11/4/2025) at 14:51 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include cooking oil (curah), table salt, chicken eggs, premium rice, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, pure beef, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Table salt experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp480 (4.68%) to Rp10,739 per kg. Farmer-level corn saw the steepest price drop, decreasing by Rp661 (8.49%) to Rp7,125 per kg.
