Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Rice and Egg Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 saw price increases and 9 saw price decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, red chilies, mackerel, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp640 (4.32%) to Rp15,440 per kg. Iodized fine salt experienced the largest price drop, decreasing by Rp380 (3.26%) to Rp11,270 per kg.
