Banten Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Thursday, December 7, 2023)

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (7/12/2023) at 11:20 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased in price and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, granulated sugar, premium rice, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, up Rp2,560 (9.0%) to Rp31,020 per kg. Red chilies saw the lowest price decrease, down Rp26,530 (27.71%) to Rp69,200 per kg.
