Food Prices in Banten, Friday (5/7): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (5/7/2024) at 09.34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, SPHP rice, premium rice, fine iodized salt, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level increased the most by Rp910 (12.83%) to Rp8,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots decreased the most sharply by Rp4,980 (15.0%) to Rp28,230 per kg.
