Latest Food Prices in Bali: Onion and Chili Prices Rise

The price of several food commodities in Bali today is observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (10/12/2024) at 10:39 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, red chilies, pure beef, garlic bulbs, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp950 (3.19%) to Rp30,690 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price drop, down Rp780 (3.32%) to Rp22,690 per kg.
