Latest Food Prices in Bali Region: Egg, Red Chili, and Sugar Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (July 25, 2025) at 12:17 PM Western Indonesia Time, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities saw an increase and 10 commodities saw a decrease.

Commodities with increased prices include large red chili, shallots, broiler chicken meat, consumption salt, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, broiler eggs, packaged wheat flour, Minyakita (cooking oil brand), and dried soybean (imported) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest jump of Rp920 (2.1%) to Rp44,833 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili prices dropped the sharpest by Rp1,746 (3.8%) to Rp44,167 per kg.
