Current Banten Region Food Prices: Beef, Onion, and Oil Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (September 3rd, 2024) at 10:16 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, farmer-level corn, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, and Indian mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp200 (1.59%), reaching Rp12,780 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices saw the sharpest decrease of Rp5,710 (12.27%), reaching Rp40,820 per kg.
