Food Prices Tuesday (28/10/2025) in DKI Jakarta: Red Chili Rises, Salt Falls

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (28/10/2025) at 12:14 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities with rising prices include packaged cooking oil, premium rice, broiler chicken meat, consumption sugar, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption salt, Minyakita, red cayenne pepper, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The curly red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp2,857 (4.76%) to Rp62,857 per kg. The price of consumption salt saw the deepest decrease of Rp277 (2.4%) to Rp11,286 per kg.
