Jakarta DKI Region Food Prices Thursday (20/6): Onion, Oil, and Salt Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (20/6/2024) at 12:01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, milkfish, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, curly red chilies, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium rice prices surged the highest by Rp350 (2.57%) to Rp13,990 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies fell the most sharply by Rp6,160 (9.06%) to Rp61,810 per kg.

9. Mackerel: Rp33,830 per kg (down 0.47%)
