Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta on March 03: Red Chili Rises, Beef Falls

Several food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 3, 2026) at 18:01 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are curly red chili, bulk palm cooking oil, bulk granulated sugar, wheat flour, and shallots.

Meanwhile, only rump beef decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Wheat flour had the highest jump of Rp250 (2.11%) to Rp12,083 per kg. Meanwhile, rump beef price dropped the most by Rp1,347 (0.94%) to Rp141,736 per kg.
