Jambi Food Price Update Today: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Sunday, March 3, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (3/3/2024) at 14:26 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, red chilies, broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, granulated sugar, shallots, bulk wheat flour, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp280 (0.86%) to Rp32,920 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp2,460 (8.64%) to Rp26,000 per kg.
