Today''s Food Prices in West Java: Rice and Red Chili Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (Sept 22, 2025) at 12:48 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include medium rice, SPHP rice, milkfish, mackerel, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, and red bird''s eye chili decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Large red chili commodity increased the most by Rp5,149 (9.63%) to Rp58,602 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird''s eye chili price decreased the most by Rp536 (1.24%) to Rp42,539 per kg.

6. Mackerel: Rp41,805 per kg (up 1.41%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,625 per kg (down 0.25%)
8. Milkfish: Rp37,494 per kg (up 0.91%)
