Latest Food Prices in East Java: Prices of Cooking Oil, Salt, and Sugar Rise

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (7/6/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), premium rice, granulated sugar, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, medium rice, farmer-level corn, shallots, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp640 (6.74%) to Rp10,140 per kg. Farmer-level corn had the lowest price decrease of Rp320 (6.13%) to Rp4,900 per kg.
