Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Red Chili Prices Up, Oil Down

Food prices in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (10/11/2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption sugar, packaged wheat flour, skipjack tuna, packaged cooking oil, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, premium rice, red onion, broiler eggs, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili saw the highest surge, up Rp1,072 (1.95%) to Rp55,929 per kg. Bulk cooking oil prices dropped the most sharply by Rp165 (1.04%) to Rp15,704 per liter.
