Bali Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (15/9/2024) at 13:13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, Indian mackerel, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, pure beef, milkfish, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and dry soybean seeds (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp170 (0.69%) to Rp24,730 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,560 (6.6%) to Rp22,070 per kg.
