Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Chicken Meat, Buffalo Meat, and Chili Prices Decline

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (November 4, 2025) at 09:53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 7 increased and 18 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include corn at the farmer level, packaged cooking oil, dry soybean seeds (imported), consumption sugar, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, red cayenne pepper, SPHP rice, frozen buffalo meat (foreign imported), and fresh buffalo meat (local) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour increased the highest by Rp286 (3.27%) to Rp9,033 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fresh buffalo meat (local) dropped the sharpest by Rp144,375 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
