East Java Food Prices Tuesday (March 25th): Onions Up, Oil Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (25/3/2025) at 10:43 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, large red chilies, premium rice, pure beef, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, red chilies, packaged wheat flour, broiler chicken, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest, up by Rp1,440 (4.61%) to Rp32,707 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil fell the most, down Rp272 (1.5%) to Rp17,878 per liter.
