Jambi Region Food Prices Saturday (August 10th): Chili Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (10/8/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are mackerel, milkfish, curly red chilies, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp470 (1.04%) to Rp45,650 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price drop of Rp300 (1.35%) to Rp21,870 per kg.
