Today's Food Prices February 20 in West Sumatra: Oil and Red Chili Prices Drop

Several food commodity prices in West Sumatra today were observed to drop compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (February 20, 2026) at 3:59 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 6 decreased.

The commodities with price increases are premium packaged palm cooking oil and bulk palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, Minyakita, chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, and red onion decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium packaged palm cooking oil saw the highest increase of Rp17 (0.08%) to Rp20,491 per liter. Meanwhile, red onion prices dropped the most by Rp357 (1.06%) to Rp33,321 per kg.
