Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Egg and Sugar Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (11/6/2024) at 09.17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, medium rice, broiler chicken, and corn at the farmer level.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest, increasing by Rp10,470 (26.65%) to Rp49,750 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna decreased the most, dropping by Rp3,670 (10.9%) to Rp30,000 per kg.

6. Broiler Chicken: Rp38,000 per kg (up 0.45%)
7. Mackerel: Rp35,000 per kg (down 4.42%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 10.9%)
9. Milkfish: Rp28,980 per kg (down 8.72%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,500 per kg (down 2.76%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,490 per kg (down 3.48%)
