Bali Food Prices, Monday, July 22nd: What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (22/7/2024) at 15:54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, medium rice, premium rice, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as corn at the farmer level, fine iodized salt, shallots, chicken eggs, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was red chilies, up by Rp3,190 (8.45%) to Rp40,950 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was seen in mackerel, down Rp1,030 (2.75%) to Rp36,440 per kg.
