Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Salt Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (September 12, 2025) at 08.41 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include chicken eggs, large red chili, red onion, chicken meat, and Minyakita cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, dried soybean seeds (imported), red bird''s eye chili, bulk cooking oil, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The price of garlic bulbs saw the highest increase of Rp8,353 (20.06%) to Rp50,000 per kg. The price of dried soybean seeds (imported) experienced the deepest decrease of Rp9,600 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp45,500 per kg (up 0.14%)
7. Mackerel: Rp45,000 per kg (up 6.51%)
8. Curly Red Chili: Rp45,000 per kg (down 3.77%)
9. Red Bird''s Eye Chili: Rp43,333 per kg (down 1.78%)
10. Chicken Meat: Rp41,250 per kg (up 12.5%)
11. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,000 per kg (up 4.01%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp21,000 per liter (up 1.13%)
